Blend of Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara grapes are semi-dried on trays, in ventilated rooms, for 120 days. The must is macerated on the skins for seven to eight days; fermentation lasts from four to six weeks. The wine then matures in 30- hectolitre Slovenian oak barrels for two years and for a further six months in bottle before being released onto the market. It is garnet-red in colour and displays notes of ripe black cherry and plum. Full bodied wine, great structure, well-balanced and perfectly balanced tannins, alcohol, and acidity.
